Hi Mo and Dave! Only just realised I could I mail you both. Glad you are doing so well. Those first few days looked very hard. Thanks for a lovely day’s walk. It was smashing to join you and enjoy the wonderful grand scenery of the Pennines.We had quite a long hike back to Hawes and were really grateful for your tip about the lovely café there.The tea and cakes went down very well. We rather envy you continuing your way North and we’ll think about you often over the next couple of weeks. Keep up the splendid work and keep on enjoying it. Hi Dave and Mo I have been reading your diary pages and glad to hear you are doing extremely well, you certainly have been lucky with the weather, apart from the few days at the start. The country side you are travelling around looks breath taking. Hello Mo and Dave I’m sure you will have heard about the Border Hotel fire, but I’m sending this message just in case; we are doing the PW in a few weeks and so were phoned about it and to arrange alternative accommodation (not sure if you were planning to stay there). Hello Dave and Mo You look as tho' you are having a good time along with the hard work! We hope you are treating Colin well so that he will be happy to come home with you both. It seems you are taking him through storms and heat and bogs and mountains and valleys and pubs - still he has a rest in the evenings with good food. Fredbear & Midge Woodsell salute Colin on the last day of his epic journey. Despite the handicap of having to shepherd Mo & Dave along when their spirits had sunk he maintained a steady progress and now is on the verge of the triumphal end to his heroic treck. See you Monday at Hawes
